Girl's Novelty Pajamas
Our selection of girls pajamas includes both cartoon and novelty prints. Our most popular novelty prints include animal skin-themed pjs. Be sure to check the fabric content on children's pajamas before making your selection. The fit varies quite a bit depending on fabric. Polyester children's pajamas are loose fitting. Cotton children's pajamas will fit snugly to the skin. Some of our newest style include three-piece sets from Komar Kids. They are available in zebra, giraffe, and penguin prints. They include long bottoms, a tank top, and a button up top. The three-piece set makes a great gift and is a great value. Our new funky Monster High pjs are inspired by the Monster High dolls and books.
Getting Ready for Pajama Day at School
My children always look forward to pajama day at school. Their school always holds this event during the last week of the school year. Kids love to show off fun pajamas to their friends on this special day.
Pajama Day takes a little bit of advanced planning. Jammies that are appropriate at home may not be appropriate outside of the home. For instance, we love 100% cotton pajamas at home, but I consider them to be too tight for my children to wear outside of the house. I also don't allow my children to wear shorty pajamas outside of my house. (I am the mom, therefore I get to make the rules!)
Coat-style pajamas are perfect for events like Pajama Day. Many feature fun novelty prints, but loose comfortable cuts and fits. Coat-style pajamas have pull-on bottoms and button up tops.
If you really want to create a complete sleepwear ensemble for Pajama Day, you can add a bathrobe and slippers. Robes are a great addition as they will keep her warm on the way to school. We will offer just one note of caution regarding slippers. Just remember that our slippers are designed for indoor use only. If your child wears them outdoors on the way to school, the slippers may become worn out and damaged quickly. We recommend carrying them in her backpack and changing into them once she gets to school.
Happy Pajama Day!
