My staff positively delights in giving me a hard time. Why? Well... the reasons are too many to list.
One of their favorite things to make fun of me about is that I know nothing about sports. I confuse basketball with baseball with soccer. I am just not a sports person. I don't really have anything against sports. It just isn't really my thing. So for years I have taken some ribbing from my staff for confusing the baseball slippers with the basketball slippers, etc.
Well... now it is payback time. I recently discovered what I consider to be some of the coolest products we have ever sold in almost twelve years of business – Star Trek Bath Robes. I was so excited when the shipment finally came. My warehouse manager opened the box, held up the blue Spock robe, and said, “Which one is this?”
“What!?!!! What???!!! Which won is Spock? How can you not know which one is Spock?” I said.
She looked at me blankly. “I never watched Star Trek.” she said.
A life without Star Trek.... unimaginable....
As a kid a watched all of the old 1960s Star Trek reruns with my dad in our den in Queens, NY. Some of my favorite episodes include the Trouble with Tribbles, Space Seed, and The Menagerie. We would look forward to watching Star Trek all week. This was the 1970s – before DVRs (and even VCRs), so you had to actually remember to watch TV shows when they aired. Star Trek was on Channel 11 on Saturday evenings. We always tuned in.
We also saw all of the feature films. I love both the Wrath of Khan and The Search for Spock. (OK. I didn't love the one with the whales in San Francisco.)
Then Star Trek the Next Generation came out. Again, I was hooked. I watch every episode a zillion times. I was sad when they decided to discontinue the series and recorded the final Star Trek the Next Generation Marathon on my VCR in my little one room Brooklyn, NY apartment when I was just out of college. (I wonder what ever happened to those tapes.) I remember going to see the first of the “new” Star Trek movies with my then-boyfriend (now-husband) at a little movie theater in Brooklyn Heights. (How cool was the scene where the Enterprise crashes?)
So anyway... what does this have to do with robes and pajamas? If you know or love (or know and love) a Star Trek nut like me, one of these Star Trek robes will make a great birthday, Father's Day, or holiday gift. They are super cool. I am a woman and I would totally wear any of these robes even though they are intended for men. (There actually is a short Uhura robe that is made especially for women.)
These are great quality robes in addition to featuring cool designs. The Spock, Kirk, and Scotty robes are all made of thick, quality 100% cotton terry fabric. They are substantial and absorbent. The Uhura robe is 100% polyester fleece.
These are one of my favorite things for adults that we have ever sold. I know that you won't be disappointed.
Live long and prosper.

P.S. Another practical, but cool thing about our Star Trek robes is that the price includes Standard Shipping within the U.S. International Shipping and Expedited Shipping are also available for an additional fee.
